The installation of your product is easy. Read carefully the next guide.
INSTALLATION
1- the wall must be finished.
2- Let 1cm of each side in the opening of the wall. Examples: for windows 1,45mx1,25m let a space of 1,47mx1,27m.
3- The product that you are installing must be totally sealed, including the external part of the jamb with at least one coat of stain.
Renew the painting every year.
p.s.: if the installation is made with pieces of wood, the part that gets in touch with the window also must be sealed.
4- Put the wedge between the wall and the window.

5- Check the level, the square and the plumb.
The wedge must be well fixed but without too much pressure. |

6- Fill with expansive glue the empty spaces as showed in the drawings.
Follow the instructions of the manufacturer that are written in the package of the product. |

7- After it is dried, cut the exceeding glue.
|
8- install the frames in the internal side of the wall. Fill the spaces of the external side between the wall and the window with mortar. If you wish to install frames in both sides then it is not necessary the use of the mortar. |

REGULATION OF THE WINDOW |
If after the installation the product didn´t work very properly, then it is necessary to regulate the sliding sashes.
Follow the instructions:
Take the wood piece that hides the trail out " A ", regulate the high of the sliding sash " B" turning the screw of the runner " C " with a wrench of 6mm " D " or a piece of metal ( a clip or a wire ) as the drawing is showing.

INSTALLATION WITH PIECES OF WOOD |
Fix the piece of wood in the wall. Make sealed the part that is going to be in touch with the window. Install the window between these pieces of wood. Fix it with wedges in the level and in the plumb. Check the square and fix the window using screws. Never use nails. Never install the product directly to the wall.

ATTENTION |
1- Before the beginning of the installation read carefully this instructions guide.
2- Follow correctly all the steps explained in this guide in order to enjoy the use of the limited warranty that Holz grants.
3- Before the installation the product must be sealed. Follow the instructions of this guide.
4- The products that are going to be used externally never must be sealed with shellac nitro.
5- Avoid the wall pressure against the product. This pressure can bend the jambs and the product will not work properly.

6- After installing the window check if the dropping holes "A" are not dirty. The dropping holes in the sill "B" are made to drain the rain water.
It is important to be carefull with the installation of the ceramic "C" or the granite finishment.
The finishment must be down the dropping holes in order to not block up the water passage.
